It may be Winter, But the Boothbay Region Land Trust still offers over thirty miles of hiking trails.  They are open year round, and are free of charge on the Land Trust Preserves.  You will see Meadows, wetlands, forests, and the ocean along many of the trails.  The Penny Lake Land Trust is located just behind the Flagship Inn, and is a nice easy walk for you and your pets.  There are Easy, Moderate and challenging trails in our area, you decide how daring to be.
