The Maine Maritime Museum in Bath is offering the Shaker Box Workshop next week; April 10-11, 5 to 8pm.  The museum is only 30 minutes away from The Flagship Inn.

The Boatshop's most popular workshop will be offered for the first time in spring in two 3-hour evening sessions, April 10 and 11, 5 to 8 p.m. Participants are always amazed at the beauty of their finished pieces. These beautiful boxes make thoughtful Mother's Day, birthday or anniversary gifts or an elegant and practical addition to your home. As many as three boxes are built, each made of cherry and cedar with copper tacks. No woodworking experience is needed and all materials are provided. Students age 8 to 15 can attend when accompanied by an adult. Limited class size. This workshop often fills up quickly, so don't miss out -register early.
