The Maine Maritime Museum is open for business, and only 25 minutes from Boothbay Harbor and the Flagship Inn!

Going Coastal exhibit on view beginning Oct. 26;
    opening reception Oct. 25, 5-7 p.m.

If you haven't seen the very popular exhibit about the U.S. Coast Guard - Beyond the Breakers: Lighthouses, Life-Saving and the U.S. Coast Guard - you only have a very short time to do so, as it closes on Columbus Day, October 14. Replacing that exhibit will be an exhibit about nautical humor - Going Coastal: Humor, Parody and Amusement of a Maritime Nature. Undoubtedly, Curator of Exhibits Chris Hall will once again work his curatorial magic to create an exhibit that will not only surprise and educate visitors, but this time make them smile broadly or perhaps even laugh out loud. The opening reception will be Friday, Oct. 25 from 5 to 7 p.m.
