    Learn to Navigate by Charts: A Workshop in February

Tired of always cruising from Point A to Point B and back because you only know how to get there safely? In the upcoming workshop Navigating Mid-Coast Maine, which meets for two hours on four consecutive Wednesday evenings beginning February 13, you'll learn how to navigate using nautical charts, and a whole world of coastal cruising will open up to you. Learn to decipher all the info on charts, learn about true and magnetic headings, variation, lines of position, chart symbols, latitude and longitude, dead reckoning and aids to navigation. You'll get your own copy of the Three Rivers chart (Boothbay area) and printed info on navigation principles.
