The Maine Lighthouse Museum
at the Maine Discovery Center™

The Maine Lighthouse Museum (MLM) is the proud home of the largest collection of Fresnel lighthouse lenses and the most important landmark collection of lighthouse artifacts and Coast Guard memorabilia in the United States. The museum has just merged the spectacular lighthouse collection from the former Museum of Lighthouse History of Wells, ME with the MLM exhibits. The two collections are now on display and marvelously compliment each other. The museum is now open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $5.00 for adults. Children free.

This year marks the completion of the Maine Discovery Center, the location of the collection's new home, the Maine Lighthouse Museum, as well as the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce , and the Lighthouse Depot gift store.
